WHAT IS MEGA?

What does “Make Europe Great Again” mean?

MEGA (Make Europe Great Again) is about putting Europe first — our people, our economy, our traditions, our behavior, and above all, our values.

Europe has always been known as a safe and welcoming place. It is a continent of freedom, democracy, and human dignity, where people can speak freely, believe what they want, and practice their religion. This openness is one of Europe’s greatest strengths, and we must ensure it remains so.

That also means that while everyone should be welcome, it is necessary that those who come to Europe choose to support and respect Europe’s core values. Without this, our society cannot survive in the long term. These values are clearly defined in the Treaty of Lisbon:

  • Human dignity
  • Freedom
  • Democracy
  • Equality
  • Rule of law
  • Human rights

These are not just words — they are what allows us to live together peacefully, to grow, and to build a better future.

Over recent decades, Europe has seen increasing challenges to these principles. Migration is at a historic high. Of course, Europe must help those who truly need help. But that help can only succeed if it comes with integration into European society and respect for its values.

The problem arises when the majority of Europeans are expected to adapt or change their values for a minority that does not wish to integrate. This cannot be the solution. Instead, it is reasonable to expect that those coming to Europe — asking for help and safety — should adapt to the values of the society they wish to join.

When this expectation is ignored, many Europeans feel that their voices are not being heard. This frustration leads to demonstrations and public outcry, not because of racism, but because people want their leaders to listen.

This is a crucial point: MEGA is not about racism. It is about integration and fairness. It is about treating everyone equally, regardless of skin color, nationality, religion, or identity — but with the understanding that we must all share the same fundamental values if we are to live together in peace.

When Europe talks about deportations, this is not about people who want to integrate. It is about those who refuse to integrate, often connected to crime or rejection of European values. No society can function if it tolerates the presence of those who openly undermine it.

Yes, integration is difficult. It takes effort, and it is not always easy. But Europe’s message is clear: we want to help anyone who genuinely wants to be part of Europe, who is willing to contribute, follow the rules, and respect our values.

This has nothing to do with excluding people based on who they are. It is simply about building a society where everyone can live safely and equally.

Finally, it must be stressed that MEGA is not a far-right movement. It is not about hate or violence. It is about prioritizing Europe and its values, so that we can continue to live in a safe, free, and democratic society — one that keeps evolving for the benefit of all its people.
